Oneida Appalachian Guest House is conveniently located in the center of Oneida, Tenn., within walking distance to the town’s retail district — with a number of dining options within blocks of our front door — and schools. Our business guests will find us a short, 10-minute drive away from the Scott Municipal Airport and only minutes from Scott County’s industrial parks. For vacationing guests, the Big South Fork National River & Recreation Area is a 10-minute drive away, and Brimstone Recreation and North Cumberland Wildlife Management Area are located within 15 minutes of us.
Despite our location just blocks from Oneida’s best places to eat and shop, Oneida Appalachian Guest House is situated in a peaceful grove of oak trees that provide a peaceful and relaxing setting just off the “main drag.” Our facility includes a large patio for conversation and making new friends. The patio offers a gas grill and lots of seating for gathering, eating, and socializing. There is a laundromat just a short walk across the street.
Each of our suites are private, and provide all the amenities and comforts of home — with jet tubs, a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot.
Oneida Appalachian Guest House combines friendliness and a home-like atmosphere with a convenient location.
Oneida Appalachian Guest House is independently owned and operated by a Retired Military family. With deep roots in the community, Tom and Vicky Clark have a vested interest in the community, being raised just north of Onedia — and, thus, a vested interest in their guests. Their careful attention to detail helps ensure that you are treated as you expect to be treated while vacationing or on a business retreat.
Historic, yet modern
The Oneida Appalachian Guest House was built in 1927. The large, Spanish-style home has survived two fires and numerous renovations, and has been used as both a permanent family dwelling and a doctor’s office. Today, the entire building has been newly remodeled. The Spanish features outside have been preserved, while the suites inside have been upgraded to offer modern comforts and conveniences. The Oneida Appalachian Guest House is truly “a home away from home” for visitors to the Oneida/Huntsville and Big South Fork areas.
